All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.

Walt Disney

I am a dreamer.  I have always been a dreamer.  I do not know how to function without dreaming.

What does this mean?  I set goals, I work towards them, and eventually my dreams become my reality.  I study other dreamers like Walt Disney, a man who built a legacy starting with drawings of Mickey Mouse.  How did an animation of a mouse become a leading entertainment company?

The thing is with dreams, they do not always seems possible.  They often feel IMPOSSIBLE before they come close to becoming reality.  I should point out here, not even dream or goal I had became a reality.  There are some that are still works in progress.  Also, some dreams did not manifest in the way I thought they would.

Pursuing a dream takes a lot of hard work, determination, and most of all perseverance.  There may even be a lot of rejection along the way.  There may be a lot of frustration, tears, happy moments, and small wins along the journey.  While there will be plenty of moments that feel appropriate to give up, ask yourself how important is this dream to you?  Will it change your life?  How passionate are you about the dream?  If you need to change direction, how can you do it?

I can not say that being a dreamer is easy.  I can not say that the journey is going to be clear of obstacles.  In fact, there may be many obstacles in the way of achieving a particular dream.  I can say that persistence pays off.  I can say that achieving a dream is one of the best feelings in the world.

So what dream are you going to pursue today?  What goal have you put off?  How are you doing to make change in this world?

Love,

Lisa
